We carry large selection of wind jackets, wind shirts and windbreakers from premier brands like Marmot and The North Face in our store. These jackets are designed, as name suggests, to protect you from wind during your outdoor adventures thus preserving the body heat that would otherwise be lost. The amount of wind blocked varies from product to product, but is generally anywhere between 50% to 100% of wind being blocked. There are several technologies present on the market that allow manufacturers to achieve these results, most known perhaps are GORE Windstopper and Polartec Windblock fabrics that are close to 100% windproof. Manufacturers of windbreakers also use their own proprietary technologies, such as The North Face's Apex Climateblock thus reducing the cost of ownership.
