Good mid range jacket
Great value. North Face's HyVent jacket with attached insulation at a reasonable price. No, this is not the best jacket out there, it's not a system, doesn't have a soft-shell liner or gazillion pockets and features. It also doesn't cost $500.00 and you can actually ski without worrying about what you wear while staying dry and warm. If you care more about your technique and less about your gear, this might be a good choice. I had the jacket for 2 months now and have enjoyed skiing in it on all my trips. Works just like intended.
