Care Instructions
Marmot does not recommend dry cleaning for any of our products. Gore-Tex fabric products, MemBrain fabric products, down insulated products, and fleece are all machine washable. You should use a commercial front loading machine and follow the care instructions.

Every soft shell should have a hood
Marmot softshells are great but I never understood why some manufacturers wouldn't make one with a hood. It just makes perfect sense if you are in an alpine conditions to have one. The amount of heat that escapes through one's scalp is pretty significant and hooded jacket just makes sense. Overall, this another great Marmot softshell jacket with huge amount of stretch and water repellency. Athletic fit makes it great for layering under my shell and as mentioned earlier, the hood is a huge plus. The jacket feels pretty solid and doesn't obstruct my movement during climbs. Packs nicely too. Great job Marmot.
