Yey for Windstopper
There's millions of soft shell jackets out there, even Costco carries some now. This one however has a gore windstopper liner which makes it virtually windproof (don't know the numbers, don't care.) At $150 it's a pretty sweet deal I think, compared to some north face jackets I looked at. The soft shell is not the thin kind for summer, nor the thick wet-suit like for winter. It's a perfect weight for wearing as a jacket in warmer conditions or a underneath a shell in winter. I'm happy with my Marmot jacket.
