Generally, we have found the Helly Hansen jackets and sweaters to be relatively large in size. If you are in doubt and in between two sizes, we recommend that you order the smaller size.

Best of both worlds
Who said you cannot have it all? I was shopping around for some long underwear and was faced with the choice of either merino wool, which is natural, warm and comfy, or synthetics which wicks moisture better and stays dry. And then I found this thing from Helly. It has their LIFA poly shirt inside and there is another merino wool layer sandwiched on the outside. This works really well. It keeps me nice and dry where my skin touches the shirt, and the extra wool insulates nicely. Best of all, the shirt is not itchy as there is no direct contact with the skin. Don't even think about wearing this in summer or spring though-it's really warm and evidently designed for winter sports.
