Dale of Norway Roald Amundsen with Teflon is an advanced sweater that will keep you warm in the coldest conditions. It is lined with the GORE Windstopper wind-breaker, yet it is light and comfortable weight. With a special design for the outdoors and skiing, it's knitted in norway from Dale's original 100% colonial wool. The tough outdoor sweater is inspired by the life and passions of Roald Amundsen's polar expeditions. The high neck with fleece lining creates an effective barrier against the arctic fury. As part of the Dale Sport Collection, it is not only for active sports, but leisure wear. The designs are unisex, with distinct colors, striking patterns and functional detailing, such as windproof, breathable lining, zip-pockets, shock-cord closures, and fleece lining in the neck. A Dale Sport sweater with windproof lining is ideal for active sports and outdoor endeavors, and will keep you warm under extreme weather conditions.

Wash/Care Instructions for Dale of Norway Sweaters
Hand wash (30°C/86°F) or machine wash (30°C/86°F) at wool cycle. Turn inside out. Use a mild washing detergent. Squeeze gently, do not wring. Rinse well. Dry on a flat surface, pull gently into shape if necessary. Do not dry in sunshine or in a tumble dryer. Can be pressed, using wool setting. This garment can be dry cleaned, but dry cleaning may change the brightness of the colors and the softness of the wool. Store knitted garments folded, not hanging.
All Dale of Norway products have washing labels inside the garments. Some products are machine wash and some are handwash. Here are some general instructions on how to wash and care for your Dale product:
- Hand wash at 30°C/86°F using a detergent with a neutral pH -or- Machine wash at 30°C/86°F using a wool cycle and a detergent with a neutral pH
- Do not bleach or wash with chlorine based products
- Iron at low heat settings and, if necessary, turn inside out
- May be dry cleaned, but this may change the brightness of the colors and softness of the wool
- Do not tumble dry
- Dry flat, and never in direct sunlight
- WATER REPELLENT garments should be ironed after washing. Do not use softener when washing

Ahh, the Norwegian workmanship
Awesome sweater-wool is the nature's high-tech and this sweater sure is awesome. It's basically and wind jacket and sweater in one piece, there's a lining inside the sweater. Heavy duty construction makes this perfect fall all my backcountry adventures. Make sure to get the correct size if you're planning to wear this as outer jacket because the inner liner does not allow the sweater to stretch as much as normal sweater would. I went with my usual size (5'11' 160lbs and got medium). Two thumbs up Dale!
Great sweater for outdoor
I was looking for a technical wool sweater for my outdoor adventures and stumbled upon Dale of Norway brand. While I'm not a big fan of Norwegian patterns and snowflakes, this one actually looks pretty cool as it doesn't have much of it and goes well with the outdoor theme. The sweater is great, love the liner which actually works. No breathability issues whatsoever. Solid zipper and high quality wool you can simply see and feel. It looks like this sweater will last a long time.
Warm, durable and good looking
Great, durable outdoor sweater that looks pretty good as well. This sweater is heavy, lined with a windbreaker inside. I really enjoy wearing this to go skiing. I usually don't wear any jacket as this sweater provides enough warmth by itself (with a wool base layer under.) I have selected a model that doesn't have the extra features like a powder skirt or a pocket just because I didn't ant the extra weight and cost and it's working just fine for me. I also liked the full zipper feature better as it is lot easier to get in and out and also allows me to vent out faster when I get warm.
