The company also enlarged the auto-block release hole to accept a small carabiner. Multiple friction modes provide the optimal amount of stopping power when lowering or rappelling, and the device's guide mode lets you belay one or two seconding climbers off an anchor.

Much lighter
I have been using Black Diamond's Guide ATC for a while now, but lost my last piece and was looking for a replacement. This one seems much lighter than my previous version with all the features unchanged. Great belay device which does pretty much anything you will throw at it. From lead belay, to taking up the second, to guided belay through anchor and of course double rope rappel. Feels pretty solid.
