The Elektra 11 Series snowshoes bridge top-end performance for winter hiking with greater value. Built on the proven technology and value of the Atlas 6061 aluminum V-frame, durable stainless steel All-Trac toe crampon and flexible Nytex decking, the 11 Series snowshoes have the added security of Atlas' Advanced Aft Traction and a climbing bar to ease strain on calf muscles. The Wrapp Plus bindings are specially molded around men's lasts, with supportive arches that cradle the inside of your feet, and the urethane heel strap adjusts easily with the SureClick buckle. The Elektra frame features a narrower waist and tapered trail that allows a woman's natural stride to explore deeper terrain in comfort.

Elektra Design

The Elektra women's design grew from a two-year biomechanics research program to a deep line of successful women's snowshoes that continue to lead the industry. Atlas' Elektra frames are shaped to accommodate a women's natural gait, with tapered trails, a narrower nose and outside rolling bends that nest the snowshoes together comfortably. Since women's needs are more than frame-deep, Atlas' binding designs are molded around a women's boot last, offer increased arch support and use carefully-placed strapping and padding to eliminate pressure points and keep circulation moving in the cold.

Heel Lift

On steep climbs, calf muscles tire quickly and traction decreases when your foot matches the slope's angle. The heel lift bar eases fatigue and ties directly into advanced aft traction for frip.

V-Frame

Sturdy aluminum frame V-Frames are the key to an efficient, natural stride. The V shape tracks straight in deep snow, and the tapered tail pulls less snow as you step forward, saving your energy. The turned up tail of the V-frame tolls easily into each step for a natural gait. Built with lightweight, durable 6000- and 7000-series aluminum, the V-frame used on all Atlas snowshoes.

Advanced Aft Traction

This traction uses the sharpest ice tips on the heel cleat with four angled, ridged side rails for superior all-mountain traction. The integrated heel lift bar ties directly into the traction for deeper penetration with each step.

Holey-1 Toe Crampon

The Holey-1 uses shovel-shaped stainless steel prongs for better hold and sharp ice tips for superior bite on frozen slopes.
