Dale of Norway De Syv Fjell Cardigan. Bergen is in Norwegian often referred to as 'Byen mellom De Syv Fjell- the city between The Seven Mountains. The seven mountains are Ulriken, Flollet, Sandviksfjellet, Rundemannen, Damsgsfjellet, Lyderhorn and Lokken. The highest one, Ulriken, stretches 643 meter above sea level, and it can be reached either by foot or cable cart. Flollet is another popular mountain for Sunday walks and is a 'must-see' for all the tourists visiting Bergen. From the view plateau you have a spectacular view over the fjord and city center. If you don?t find the 399 meters climb too tempting, you can catch on of the trams going up the steep hillside. For the sporty and real Bergen-enthusiasts there are every spring held the seven-mountain march, where you must start early in the morning to enjoy the breath-taking view on all seven mountaintops.
