I like the individual lugs
So the folks at GoLite came up with this idea to create a sole with lugs that each move independently, giving you better grip, stability and protection on the trail. First I was skeptical, but after trying the shoes I must say these are quite possibly one of my most favorite shoes. The sole seems to be quite sticky, and the individual lug design seems to be working pretty well, giving me enough traction even if the shoe is not in the best position, especially on a little bit challenging terrains. The shoe upper is made of natural leather which I prefer to synthetic, as it tends to breathe and mold little better, plus it gives shoe some water protection as well. No issues with sweat and blisters so far, but I think the shoes are broken in by now so it should not get any worse. I like what GoLite did with the shoe, I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for lighweight trail shoe that will work as a casual shoe as well.
